How fast you can rank up
Levelling is intentionally back-loaded so the top ranks reflect real earning volume rather than time invested. The XP math:
- Bronze (Level 10) — ~$250 of cumulative earnings
- Silver (Level 20) — ~$500 of cumulative earnings
- Gold (Level 30) — ~$750 of cumulative earnings
- Platinum (Level 40) — ~$1,000
- Emerald (Level 50) — ~$1,250
- Diamond (Level 60) — ~$1,500
- Obsidian (Level 70+) — ~$1,750+
These are floors — every $25 of qualifying earnings is 1 level. Promo codes, admin grants, streak rewards, and PTC payouts don't count toward rank XP, so your XP total can lag slightly behind your total earnings.
How the bonus stacks
Your rank bonus is applied per credit. A simple example, assuming you're at Gold (+3%):
- You finish a CPX survey worth $1.00 (10,000 coins).
- The rank bonus credits an extra +300 coins on top (3% of 10,000).
- If you also have a +10% promo code active for surveys, that adds another 1,000 coins.
- Your transaction history shows the total credited: 11,300 coins for one survey.
Bonuses are multiplicative-on-top-of-base, not nested — they don't apply to each other. The order doesn't matter for the result.
Obsidian-only perks worth calling out
- Priority Withdrawals. Obsidian gets the largest withdrawal service-fee discount of any rank. Withdrawal records are flagged
priority: trueso admins approve them first. - Custom username color. A hex code stored on your profile that the navbar and Profile page render with.
- Priority support queue. Tickets jump the line — handled before standard tickets.
- Exclusive Obsidian badge. Shown on your Profile and any public leaderboard.
